LOVE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE

When you come upon descriptions and silhouettes of dresses, you may ask what's the difference between mermaid and trumpet dresses?

They may seem quite similar, but there are design details that distinguish these two styles. For example...

MERMAID
Form fitting at the hips and thigh with the skirt flaring out below the knees.  This silhouette accentuates the curves of the body and give attention to a dramatic look that many brides like.

TRUMPET
Also close fit to the curves of the body, but the skirt flares out mid-thigh.  Some may choose this silhouette for its accentuation of curves, while also allowing more movement in the skirt.

No matter what style you choose, just remember
that it's all about how you feel wearing the dress.
Your joy is going to shine out when you feel your best!
