5 Bridal Mistakes To Avoid

Planning a celebration in a large scale is very exciting but can also take a lot out of you. Creating the perfect budget and timeline is key but there can be somethings that can be overlooked. As you start your Pinterest board for your wedding remember these things to help you make your special day the best it can be.

1. Wedding Dress Shopping Too Early?

One of the most fun parts of wedding planning has to be dress shopping. Many brides have always pictures what their wedding dress would look like. And while it is important to shop with plenty of time there is such a thing of buying it too early. It is important to first know what kind of wedding and where you are going to have. You of course want your gown to fit your theme and work with the venue you are going to use. So be sure to lock that in before saying yes to the dress.

2. Sharing Engagement Too Soon

When you first say yes to the big question you may want to shout it out to the entire world but there is a downfall too that. Before you turn to your social media pals be sure to keep it close with friends and family. It makes this time even more special and gives you a moment to soak it all in.

3. Invite Non-Wedding Guests To Pre-Wedding Parties

This is definitely something to look out for. The people celebrating with your at your pre-wedding parties should be your close friends. It it assumed they would be guests at your wedding but sometimes that isn't the case. You are going to want to keep the pre-wedding parties exclusive to wedding guests only. This will cause any confusion or conflict in the future.

4. Not Thinking Of Wedding Venue When Planning Decor

You may have this vision of beautiful florals hanging from the ceiling but if have you thought if that is actually possible? It's always important to think of your venue when planning out the decor for it. This also goes for seating and how much decorating you actually have to do. If your space is already breathtaking on it's own you can keep the decor to a minimum.

5. Having Free- All- Toasts

It's great to have people you love say a few words at your wedding but sometimes it can get out of hand. You want to avoid having the microphone passed around from person to person. It can cut in to your schedule when they start to ramble. Be sure to preplan who will be giving at toast and when.
