Wedding dress trunk shows are such a great opportunity to see new styles from a designer and a full range of their work. Typically bridal stores will only have a certain collection of dresses from a designer, which makes sense because then it would just be too much inventory. So if you have a designer you love be on the look out when they will be hosting a trunk show near you. A great way to do this is their social media platforms. They will usually announce it there as well as the bridal stores near you.

If this is your first dip into wedding dress shopping it might not be the best option. You are going to want to attend a trunk show after you have visited a couple bridal shops before hand. It is great to ask them questions about certain changes that you would like to do to a gown. If you like the skirt of one but the top of the other be sure to ask about how they would look together or if they have any options on how they would pair them together.
4. Be Prepared To Make A Purchase
This is a great reason why we don't recommend making a trunk show your first top in finding the right wedding dress. It is important to be ready to perhaps make a purchase. Trunk shows offer special pricing for their gowns that means you are sure to find the one at a discounted rate. It is good to be prepped money wise but also having a friend with you to help you decide if you it is the one for you.
