The morning of your wedding day can be one of the most exciting and as well as stressful time of your life. Your stomach is fluttering with butterflies as you begin the rest of you life with your true love. No need to panic because we are here to mellow you out with some helpful tips that are sure to bring your anxiety levels down for your wedding day.








1. Getting Ready

Getting glammed up for the big event is so much fun. it's a great time to celebrate with your girls and get pumped up for the wedding. but it can also get quite chaotic. In order to lower your anxiety levels, we recommend limiting the number of people and have just the key people in the room with you. This is sure to keep you more focused and may lessen unnecessary drama.









2. Day-Of Coordinator

If you are the one main contact for all of your vendors it is possible your phone may be blowing up the day of your wedding. This of course can stress the best of us out. We suggest distributing the weight by assigning someone to be the contact for that day. They are to take care and filter any last minute questions from vendors and wedding party while you can go through the day enjoying each precious wedding moment. You may choose one of your trusted friends or better yet, consider hiring a day-of wedding coordinator. 3. Breathe

It is so important to have a time-out during the day's event and just breathe. Taking a moment for yourself to be present and catch your breath. As a great way to calm yourself down, Here's a quick breathing technique to relieve any nerves you may be feeling or just for any time throughout your day.


4-7-8 Technique: Breath in for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, then exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat this 2 or 3 times.








4. Breakfast of Champs

As the saying goes, breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this of course rings true on your wedding day. It is important that you eat something healthy and filling on the morning of.  Try to stick to healthy foods with some protein and stay away from high sugar content.








5. Caffeine

Perhaps it is in your daily routine to have a morning cup of joe, but we recommend skipping this step on your wedding day. Caffeine can heighten any anxious feelings you may have and may even cause extra jitters. If it is just something you must have consider reducing the amount you intake that day or consider a warm and soothing herbal tea with less caffeine.








6. A Good Night's Sleep 

A good way to start off your morning involves the night before. It is extremely important to get a good night's rest before the wedding. What better way to be in a great mood then sleeping well. Not having good sleep has been linked to several negatives, so you'll definitely want to rest up.











7. Stay Hydrated

With everything going on, it's easy to forget about eating properly and drinking enough water throughout the big day. Sounds simple enough but don't skip out on keeping your body hydrated. Toast a glass or two of bubbly mimosa, but do drink enough water because only water will keep your skin looking healthy and glowy for those picture perfect wedding photos.










8. Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

We all want a perfect wedding so we tend to have a whole list of things to worry about.  What's on your mental list, many things of course, especially some that are out of our control. Take the weather for example... will it be too sunny or too chilly on the day? If you're able to set apart the things we have control over and things we don't, then it's easier to stay focused on the important things in life and truly enjoy the moment.









9. Exercise

Get your run on girl! Whether excising in the morning is part of your daily routine or not, we recommend doing so for a healthier and calmer you. Exercising and/or stretching will allow you to fend off some of those anxious nerves you may have. Make sure to just do some light exercises you are comfortable with which won't strain you or make you too tired for the long day ahead.










10. Surround Yourself with Good Energy

We talked about limiting the amount of people that you have in your bridal suite but we also suggest making it a fun and safe environment for yourself. Create a playlist with all of your favorite songs to get ready to. Consider using a aroma diffuser or lighting calming candles around you. Scents play a big roll in our lives and they can be used to calm yourself down. Scents like lavender and eucalyptus are great for relaxing.
