A wedding planning timeline can get a little confusing. What should you do first and how much time do you need? When it comes to planning your wedding choosing your venue sort of kick starts the journey of your wedding plans. By the time you choose your venue you already have and idea of what theme you want and when you will be getting married. So by picking your venue other things will come naturally and won't be so complicated.
So here's what to do after you just booked your wedding venue!
1. Plan Out Anything To Do With The Venue
That means its time to take note of things like menu tastings and dates payments for the venue. Just because you picked your venue doesn't mean you are done having to think about things related to it. It's a great start that will help with other wedding plans that need to be finalized.
2. Time For Vendors
Shortly after you choose your wedding venue it's time to move onto your wedding vendors. This can be done with your venues help. Some have a list of vendors they allow to work at their venue while other let you choose freely. Ask about their policies when it comes to vendors and don't be afraid to ask for recommendations. They are sure to have great vendors in mind.
3. Wedding Planner Introduction
If you are planning on having a wedding planner it's a good idea to have them meet the venue coordinator. They are going to be in contact quite a bit so introducing them is a must. If you have not picked your wedding planner yet that should finalized soon after you choose your venue.
4. Setting Up The Venue
A month or so after you choose your wedding do another walk through to start talking about where things will be set up and decor. This will give you a good look of what things you need to put on your to do list when it comes to decorations you will need or rentals.
