Must Haves For A Wedding With Kids

There is always the debate of having children attend a wedding. Some couples decide to not go this route and that is perfectly ok. It’s also perfectly fine to have children at your wedding. They add that fun and young element. It’s also great memories to make with them. But that does mean you have to plan your wedding a little different. We have some tips to help you entertain them and make them feel included. 

Coloring Sheets

Let them get crafty at their tables with some coloring. This is a great activity for many ages. Anyone can have a good time coloring. Remember to attach the crayons for them to get busy. 

Activity Tables

While some guests are out on the dance floor let the kids have some fun. Provide activity tables where they can all gather around for some arts and crafts. Have some comfy seating and even blankets incase it gets cold.

We can’t forget about the beverages for the kids. Get creative on the display and let the kids be able to grab it on their own. Think about juice, milk, and water for some ideas to have handy. 

Kids Meals

Serving up their favorite meals will have them happy and energized for the day. You can’t go wrong with chicken nuggets, pizza, and sandwiches. 

Toasts

When toasts come around children seem to doze off. Make them feel included by giving them their own way of tasting. Handing out milk and cookies is a great way to get them engaged and celebrating with everyone there. 

S’mores Station

Another sweet treat that kids will love are amores. This can be a great way for parents and children to have fun together. 

Movie Time

Give the kids a zone of their own to hang out and watch movies. This can be a great place for them to get away from all of the nose and business of the wedding. Fill it with popcorn and other snacks for an unforgettable time.
