How To Minimizing Your Guest List

During this time things seem to be constantly changing and different restrictions are implemented. It is hard manage having a wedding during this time but love shall always prevail. In order to be safe and have the wedding you've been dreaming us some changes must be made. We are here to help guide you through your guest list during this uncertain time. Each state and country has different procedures that they need to follow but social distancing is something everyone can incorporate.

Due to social distancing typically guests lists have had to be trimmed down to fit the guide lines. This is something hard to do because of course you want everyone you know to be a part of your wedding. But there are always positives in the negative. Downsizing means saving some money. Due to there being less people it means less chairs and tables needed. As well as food and drinks.

You will also be able to spend more time with your guests. A smaller amount of guests means you can chit chat longer and you don't have to feel like your running out of time to say hi to everyone.

In order to cut down the guest list sit down with your partner and go over everyone who you cannot envision getting married with out. These are the people you probably contacted first when you got engaged. The one's you talk to on a regular basis. Be sure to contact those people and see if they will be able to attend. This will lay a foundation of who else can be invited.

You're going to want to cut out those people you haven't talked to in a while. It could be your childhood friend who you've kept in touch with but aren't very close. Old coworkers or distant relatives you don't see or talk to very often.

Cut out plus one and children. Plus one's add a lot to the guest list. If your guest has a significant other they want to bring along sit down and talk to them. Let them know you would love to have them if the circumstances were different. Perhaps you were already thinking of having a kid free zone but it should be implemented even more so now.

We believe these tips are a great start to reducing the amount of guests at your wedding. If you feel  uneasy about not inviting certain people there you can also involve them through a zoom stream of the wedding. This will work wonders for those out of state or who are more vulnerable to be present at the wedding but at a safe distance.
