Ways to Have A Great Nights Sleep Before The Wedding Day


 It is no surprise that the night before your wedding day your going to be full of excitement and maybe even a little nervous. It is important you have a good peaceful sleep so you can wake up in a good mood and full of energy. We've got some tips to help you ease into that deep state of sleep that will have you well rested. 







Afternoon Prep

You might think that sleeping is only affected by night time when you are about to sleep but that isn't exactly the case. Nigh prep starts off in the afternoon. Be sure to limit the amount of alcohol and caffeine you intake late in the day. Having caffeine too late in the day won't have enough time to metabolize and thus cause some problems when you try to sleep. Alcohol may be a sedative but it affects the quality of your sleep. So although you might feel tired it can affect how you sleep. 




Create A Great Sleeping Environment

Creating the perfect space to sleep is key to aiding in a good nights rest. Having a noise free tranquil place is idle to falling asleep but sometimes that isn't always possible. Maybe you live on a noise street or just have a house full of noise. Using a white noise matching or one that has relaxing sounds to help you fall asleep is the way to go. Be sure to avoid bringing the wedding planning to the bed. Being able to separate work and sleep environment is very important. Having a dark space is also important to incorporate. Make sure all light is turned off to not bother your eyes as you try to rest. 





Avoid Electronic Devices

Let your mind and eyes rest for a while before heading to sleep. Disconnect from your phone, computer, and television for at least 30 minutes before going to sleep. Take this time to do some unwinding activities like reading, journaling, or taking a bath. 





Relaxing Helpers

There are natural things that can be used to relax you in order to fall asleep faster. You can drink a nice hot cup of tea that contains no caffeine. There are lavender and chamomile teas that can help you out. There are also essential oils to diffuse that create a relaxing smell that can calm you down.
