Have A Backup Plan

If you are getting married during a time where rain is a possibility then you should always have a backup plan. Choose a venue that has both indoor and outdoor spaces to use. You can also look into your vendors contracts just incase the wedding has to be postponed in a worst case scenario.

Keep Up With The Weather

Now we are not saying to obsessively check your whether app. A day before or even the morning time of your wedding check to see how the whether is going to be. This will help you determine what course of action you are going to take.

Protect Your Gown

Wedding dresses are expensive and the last thing you want to do is get it all wet and dirty. Try to protect it as much as you can. Have an umbrella with you and make sure you don't let it drag on the floor. To really make sure it stays fresh and rain free try to stay indoors as much as you can.

Protect Your Guests

If you see signs of rain early on be sure to warn your guests. They can accommodate as much as they can with what are going to wear. You can also have ponchos and umbrellas waiting for them if necessary.

Make The Most Of It

When it comes down to it all you can really do is make the most of the rain. Take some iconic photos. Have a photoshoot with matching rain boots. Have your kissing in the rain moment as you say I Do. No matter what happens remember this day is all about celebrating love.
