How A Summer Wedding Can Influence Your Bridal Look

Summer is one of the most popular season to get married in. But it might not be the right fit for every couple. Summer time can come with extreme heat which doesn't always make for the most comfortable time. It can also have an affect with how you style your bridal look. Here are some ways a summer wedding can shape your bridal look.

Light Fabrics

When you are starting your wedding dress shopping journey you will try on a lot of gowns. When you are trying them on it's important to think about how hot it's going to be during your wedding. You should be looking for light fabrics that are breathable to avoid you over heating. This is especially true if you are having an outdoor wedding.

Avoid Long Sleeves

If you always dreamed of wearing a wedding dress with long sleeves then a summer wedding might not be the one one for you. Unless your sleeves are make of tulle or illusion fabric it's going to get really hot wearing a dress like that.

Your Makeup Might Not Last As Long

With sweat comes the fact that your makeup is going to have a harder time staying on. It's very important to properly prep to make sure your make up lasts. Work with your makeup artist to come up with a look that has products that are best for longevity. It might also mean using less makeup so it doesn't feel too heavy on your skin.

Summer Means Humidity

Depending on where you are planning on having your wedding it can mean there will be humidity. That is going to affect your hair style. You might just want to keep it natural because the humidity will cause it to go back to it's natural state. If you get too hot you might also just want your hair in an updo to avoid getting too hot. You can work with your hairstylist to come up with a hair do that works in the humidity and heat.
