How To Make Sure Your Wedding Shoes Are Comfortable For The Big day

When it comes down to your bridal look you are always going to want to make sure that your shoes are comfortable for your wedding. If your wedding shoes are hurting you as you're walking down the aisle it's going to ruin the whole experience. So here are a few tips to make sure you aren't in pain when you say "I Do".

Choose The Right Size

I know this may be a no brainer but always choose the right size shoe. If you are wearing a closed toe shoe make sure you have enough room and your toes aren't pressed up against the shoe. You also don't want a shoe that is too loos because it might cause you to trip and they may fall off. So make sure you try on different sizes to make sure you have the right fit.

Break Them In

Always, always, always break in your shoes. You don't want to wear your wedding shoes for the first time as you make your way down the aisle. The reason for this being that you don't know how comfortable or uncomfortable they are going to be. They can cause blisters or just ache your feet if you aren't used to them. It will also help you feel more confidant walking around in them.

Stick To What You Know

If you aren't a heels girl don't think that just because it's your wedding day you have to wear them. Stick to shoes you know you will be comfortable in. That can be flats or short block heels. If you don't feel comfortable in 5 inch heels don't feel the need to wear them. Over all it's going to help you feel more beautiful and confidant on your wedding day.

Look For Extra Cushion

There are lots of accessories you can get for your shoes that help make them for comfortable. Things like insoles that are made to give more comfort even in open toe heels. Some shoes even come in with built in cushion that still look amazing. So make sure you look for things like that when choosing the right pair for you.

Pack A Second Pair

When in doubt have a second pair handy so that you can switch out. Go for a pair that you know will be very comfortable. One of our brides rocked her Crocs for her reception and was able to dance the night away.
