How To Prep Your Skin For You Wedding Make Up

Having a flawless makeup look isn't just about how the makeup is applied or what you use. A lot of the time the skin care prep is what makes a big difference. It provides the canvas for your makeup artist to create their master piece. Here are some tips to help you get your skin on the right foot to have an amazing look.

Cleansing

The first step is always cleansing the skin. Use a cleanser that you are familiar with and isn't going to irritate your skin. So look for sensitive formulas. Also, always choose one that is right for your skin type. If you have dry skin for a very hydrating formula that doesn't leave your skin feeling tight after washing it. If you have oily skin there are some face washes that are specialized for that.

Serums

Serums are great because they can add more than just your moisturizer alone. Hyaluronic acid is a perfect serum to use no matter what kind of skin you have. It gives you skin extra moisture and helps absorb all of you other skin care. Even if you have oily skin, hyaluronic is water based and won't add any extra oil but work on maintaining hydration.

Moisturizer

Moisturizer is going to keep everything in place. It's going to lock all of the good stuff you just put on your face. Look for a light weight moisturizer since it is going to be a day time look. You don't want to have something too heavy. Once again look for ones that fit your skin type. Gel moisturizers are great if you have oily skin.

SPF

This step should be one of your last ones in skin care. It's always the thinest product to heaviest. SPF is always must even if you aren't going to be outdoors too much. There is always a fear of having flash back from the SPF but look for chemical instead of mineral sunscreen to avoid that happening.
