Is A Fist Dance For You?
It's always been traditional for bride and groom to have their first dance together at their reception. However, traditions are changing and modern couples are staying true to what feels right to them. That may mean ditching the first dance. Not everyone feels comfortable dancing let alone in front of a crowd of people. So if you have been questioning whether you should have a first dance or not we are here to help you out.
Make It A Private Moment
A first dance is a special moment that you shouldn't feel the need to share with everyone else. A new trend is having a private last dance. When the party is all over you can take the dance floor and have you last dance together all with no one around. This is a great way to still have that special moment but in a more private and intimate way.
No Time To Rehearse
With so much planning that goes into having a wedding it can be hard to fit in a dance lesson. If you are nervous of dancing in front of people and need some guidance, practice would be key. However if you find you don't have to have for practice then don't feel like you have to do the dance to begin with.
Make Your Own Traditions
Just because a first dance is common doesn't mean you have to do it. Your wedding should stay true to you and your partners likes. If either one of you doesn't feel comfortable doing it then you shouldn't feel like you have to. There are so many other things you can do instead of the dance.
