Avoid These Mistakes When Walking Down The Aisle
Your wedding ceremony is one of the most special times of your wedding and it's when all eyes are on you. This moment is serious and you don't want to look back and wish things had gone differently. So we have some tips that are going to help make your walk down the aisle perfect. Take a look.
1. Avoid Just Looking Down
Sometimes brides have a fear of tripping on their wedding dress or aisle runner that they might have their eye glued to the floor. We say you should try and avoid this. Take a look at the happy face on your partner at the altar. Also take some time to look around at your guests and how happy they are to be part of something so special. So keep your head high and have good posture as you make your way down.
2. Don't Have Your Phone In Hand
It's almost part of our daily routine to have our phones with us at all times. One time to put it away would be when you are walking down the aisle. You are most likely going to be holding a bouquet so having a phone in your hand doesn't seem to fit. You also don't need it during this special time. If you feel like you'll need to respond to someone appoint one of your bridesmaids to handle your phone.
3. Avoid Being Intoxicated
Walking down with all eyes on you can be nerve wrecking. Some people think that some drinks will help them settle the nerves but it's important to not over drink before the ceremony. This might cause you feel unwell or even stumble down the aisle. Make sure you keep drinking to a minimum when you are getting ready.
4. Don't Chew Gum
Trying to say your vows with gum in your mouth isn't the most flattering. It might even make it hard to say. So make sure you get rid of any gum before the ceremony. You don't want to look at videos and see the gum chewing at the altar.
