What Really Happens When Planning A Wedding
Planning a wedding can have a lot of ups and downs. But in the end its of course all worth it. You might think your ready to begin but you might be underestimating how much it really takes to plan a wedding. Here are a few things you can expect that are not talked about enough.
Asking For Help
It's important to know that it's impossible to be able to do it all on your own. You will need to ask for help and that is totally okay. You should know you might feel awkward asking for help but don't get discouraged from it.
Changing Your Mind
Be prepared to change your mind a lot. You might be set on a certain theme or certain decorations but seeing everything in person may change your mind. Also seeing the cost of how much everything is can definitely influence this as well. This is all totally normal.
Stressing Over Details
This is your wedding day which means you are going to be the main one looking into the details. That also means you are going to be the one stressing over them. Your guests aren't going to know that it took you weeks to find the perfect wedding songs. These details all make the difference to you but these details won't really make a difference to your guests.
There Might Be Tears
Whether it's tears from stress or tears of joy you can most likely expect there to be tears. It's very normal to cry when things are stressing you out too much. Be sure to find the right balance and only take on as much as you can. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
Wedding Talk
There might come a point in your wedding planning journey that you will be tired of talking about your wedding. It might seem that's the only thing people talk about when they see you. Be polite and let them know that you rather talk about something else to take a break.
You Can't Plan For Everything
You can do as much research as you can but there will most likley still be some unexpected costs. Try not to stress over this and just go with the flow. At the end of the day you are going to have a wonderful wedding and will enjoy it for years to come.
