Avoid These Wedding Photo Mistakes
Your wedding photos are what's going to transport you back to that special day for many years to come. This is why couples go all out to get the best photos they possibly can. There are many things that you can to take into account to make sure you have the best memories captured. Here are some mistakes you should avoid when it comes to your wedding photos.
Not Enough Research
In this modern day there are so many way to do research. Form generic search engines to social media. Make sure you do in depth research when you are booking your photographer. Look for real wedding photos. You might even want to get in touch with some people they have worked for. Ask about their experience or look at their reviews people have left.
Not Voicing Your Vision
Each photographer is going to have their style of shooting. This can be intimidating to voice your own vision. You might think because they are the professional what ever they say goes. How ever that is not ideal because then you wouldn't get the photos you want. Look through their portfolio and let them know what you like and don't like.
Skipping A Pre-Wedding Session
Just like you would do a trail run with your hair and makeup artist, you're going to want to do the same with your photographer. Having a day of shooting before the wedding is going to help you get comfortable in front of the camera and learn how your photographer works. It let's you know if it's the right fit or if you would like to go in a different direction.
Rushing Your Photographer For Photos
Once your big day is over expect for the photos to be delivered to you with some grace time. It might take from 3 to 12 weeks before your're able to see the final products. Especially if it's a busy season your photos aren't going to be the only ones you photographer works on. So just be patient and in the end you'll have stunning photos.
